βThe story, if such a word can be used to describe ABADDON, is a process in which Gaspard goes through a dissolution in five stages. These stages are small fragments of life, all located in his small, claustrophobic, rectangular room. They are separated by other, even smaller snippets that occur at a different time: Gaspard’s childhood. ABADDON deals with queer alienation and mental health, though not in a self-pitying way, rather in a nightmarishly fantastic-psychodramatic style.β
